ConsultingSafety was founded to provide competent occupational health and safety advice and expertise to businesses and other organisations.

Our core value is to apply a common sense approach to the application of modern day health and safety legislation. To provide business with realistic, effective and efficient solutions to health and safety issues and to help dispel some of the bad press suffered by the 'elf and safety' profession as a result of poor interpretation of the law.

It is our aim to help business comply with the law in a cost effective way that will help to save the business money, improve business performance and prevent the suffering that results from ill-health and accidents.

ConsultingSafety works in association with wide range of other consultants, specialists and education institutions. Through this association we provide a comprehensive range of services to a whole host of organisations and businesses large and small.

Deana Daniels MSc, BSc, CMIOSH - Director

The company was founded by Deana Daniels a health and safety professional with over 15 years experience in the field of occupational health and safety. She holds a BSc in Environmental Health and an MSc in Occupational Health and Safety, as well as qualifications in Business and Finance.
Deana is a Chartered member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

Initially employed as an Environmental Health Officer, specialising in health and safety and food, Deana Daniels gained in-depth understanding of legislation and how it applies to business. Since then Deana has worked as a Senior Projects Manager for a private health and safety consultancy and as Risk Management Advisor to a public body.

Deana is a qualified trainer experienced in delivering NEBOSH, IOSH, and CIEH accredited training courses. She also guest lectures on Occupational Health and Safety at Middlesex University.

Paul Barratt - Director

Paul has over 18 years experience in customer service, office management, IT, marketing and advertising. Paul holds the NEBOSH certificate in health and safety, NEBOSH certificate in fire safety and risk management, a BOHS certification in building surveying and bulk sampling for asbestos and HNC qualifications in business management. Paul is also a qualified manual handling trainer and motor vehicle technician.
